Overview:
The Client Account Manager, based at one of the Dragon Sourcing offices, reports to the Operations Director. He is responsible for supervising all activities (business development and project execution) associated with a given account

Tasks description:

1. Plan and manage the execution of all client project related activities

Work with client to develop 12 months forecast of expected project (by Brand and by type of Product)
Be involved in ALL client related project activity, i.e.:
Create/open a new project
Develop detailed project plan and timetable for project and get it validated by client
Develop status reports and follow up on progress against project plan
Develop corrective action plans when necessary
Drive resources from DS and client to ensure timely and quality completion of the projects
Manage all communication between DS and client
Develop management reports to measure DS performance on account (savings, quality, deadlines, …) to “objectivise” balance scorecard

2. Develop strong personal relationship with key client personnel

Identify all key client personnel with whom to develop strong relationship
Develop relationship plan (who to target, what events,…)
Establish strong professional and personal rapport with all key client personnel

3. Develop Business with the account

Develop an annual account plan
“walk the corridors” to develop good sense of client’s business issues and requirements
Identify new areas where DS can offer its expertise
Drive for expansion of DS activity level within the account

4. Support Dragon Sourcing Marketing and Business Development

Join in key potential client meetings to present client case study

Qualifications:

Academic background: University degree, preferably in Marketing and/or business administration, economics or other relevant discipline
A recognized qualification in marketing would be considered an asset
Experience: at least 5 years experience in large Account Management and Development working for another services firm (e.g.: working for advertising agency or design agency). Some professional exposure to procurement.
Language skills: Proficiency in the local language and English is essential. Working proficiency in French is also an asset
PC skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
